EPA administrator’s ‘task force’ not dealing with health issues, “only restoring the coast itself” (VIDEO)

Today the Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Task Force held its first meeting in Pensacola. …

Michelle Nix, of Pensacola, has her own concerns about the health impacts of the oil toxins. She says analysis she and others have done show that people are getting sick.

Michelle Nix: “With the analysis we have I think we have enough information that they should want to investigate into it further themselves.”

But, [EPA administrator, Lisa Jackson] says this task force has a very limited scope.

Jackson: “The task force isn’t organized or authorized to deal with health issues per se.” … only restoring the coast itself.
